Road Runners

Road Runners use their cars as instruments of good!  By driving refugees to and from appointments, Road Runners enter intimately into their day-to-day lives.  Road Runners typically dedicate one day a week to support Case Work staff in transporting refugees to medical and dental appointments, Social Security, Goodwill, grocery stores, the Department of Licensing, and more!  They teach refugees how to set up bank accounts, apply for library cards, and use ATM machines.  Road Runners are more than a means of transportation-- they are refugees' link to American culture and life.
